Die beste Ausgabe lieferte Blackstone in The Great Charter and Charter of the foresto (Orf. 1753) und Thompson in 4An historical essay on the Magna Chartay (Lond. 1829). Vgl. Stubbs, The constitutional history of Englando (Bd. 1, Lond. 1874).
