Tyrosin, „ HII NO., oder Paraoxyphenylamidopropionsäure, organische Substanz, welche ein Zersetzungsprodukt der Eiweißstoffe ist und außerdem synthetisch dargestellt werden kann. Es bildet weiße Nadeln, die sich schwer in Wasser, kaum in Alkohol und nicht in Äther lösen.
